What is CBD Good for
CBD is becoming increasingly more valuable in today’s society, and its been blowing up popularity wise in a major way for the past 10-12 years.
Right now, you can find CBD anywhere from online on Amazon, to your local smoke shop. I mean if we’re being honest, you could probably even find little tinctures at your well-equipped gas station.
That being said, as the hype of this miracle “drug” gets bigger and bigger, so does the spread of some misguided information. So what is CBD good for?
CBD has several benefits that anyone could use in their everyday life, especially if you’re trying to wing off of pharmaceutical drugs (opioids, and other pain meds). In fact, one of the main benefits is that it is non-psychoactive, so you can use it or apply it before doing anything critical like driving, working, etc.
But before I get into the many benefits CBD has to offer, I first want to put to bed the notion that Hemp Oil and CBD Oil are the same. THEY ARE NOT! This really doesn’t come as a surprise though because just like hemp and cannabis, there are some slight similarities, but as long as you know that they’re not the same thing you’re on the right track. Remember, there are many different varieties that come from the Cannabis-Sativa plant, and they all have very different effects on our bodies.
Benefits of Using CBD
Recent studies have shown that CBD oil is good because it has anti-inflammatory properties that can relieve some pain in your joints, of course, this is great for people who have arthritis which I’m sure we all know can be very painful.
There have also been many patients recently who saw huge improvements in pain tolerance when it pertains to severe chronic back pain. Doses can vary from about 500mg to 1000mg but most people respond well to the 500mg and then gradually increase their doses as their body begins to adapt.
Helps With Anxiety and Depression
Many CBD users have claimed to have seen a huge difference for the better after using some of the CBD products.
Whether you decide to spread the oil or ointment on your skin and get a nice relaxed sensation from that, or if you’re a smoker and you’d rather vape your essential oils, either one you choose just know it seems to help if you decide to go that route.
And again in today’s society, more and more people are starting to have severe cases of depression and anxiety. Which is why they’ve already begun using it in some states on children who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder, so I’m sure by now you’re starting to see its value.
Great For Your Skin
As it turns out, similar to hemp oil, CBD oil is really for your skin too but not in the same way. You see, hemp oil is more like a moisturizer, but CBD can practically be used as an additional acne medication.
Again this is because it has anti-inflammatory properties that can help take some of the dirt and harmful toxins out of your pores which is what contributes to really bad acne.
Now it’s important to note, anyone who is allergic to any kind of oils or any products related to CBD or Hemp oil, should definitely consult a doctor first before using. There aren’t any super harmful side effects or anything but just to be safe I definitely want to recommend doing so.
Potential Side Effects of CBD
- Can cause a change in appetite.
- It can cause diarrhea.
- It can cause some fatigue.
As I said there’s really nothing to be afraid of, but if you are there’s plenty of research and doctors available so don’t feel afraid to do your due diligence first before just going out and buying the first thing that looks affordable because it all is!
Different Forms of CBD
There are different forms of CBD oil in terms of products. Fortunately for us there aren’t that many to choose from so you’ll know right away what you want to look for.
- You can vape CBD oil
- They have it in the form of an oral spray
- You can buy edibles containing CBD oil (or make them)
- You can find it in tinctures (small bottles)
- You can apply it as a Topical medication. (like a lotion, or a balm)
These kind of products usually aren’t too expensive, they just can start to add up depending on how fast you go through it. I recommend after you try it, and if you really like it and see drastic improvements, you should try and look for deals in bulk to try and save a few bucks.
It’s well worth the money giving the many medicinal benefits that are now being publicized because of the overall decriminalization of cannabis which is leading to more tests and studies being conducted to see how valuable CBD and even THC really is.
I really hope this helped! Leave your comments and questions down below and I’ll get back to you right way!
