There are many factors you should consider when looking for a bong online. The things I listed above are of course the essential details you’ll need to know before making a decision, but there’s more to a bong than the features it has, the most important thing is how will those features benefit you individually, because everyone’s situation is different.
What I mean by this is some people who smoke would rather have a small bong because they believe it’s easier to hold and control, and also they might love smaller bongs because they like to bring it with them to their friends’ house and so obviously the smaller the better.
While a person who doesn’t ever take his bong anywhere and is fascinated by HUGE rips might prefer a larger and a heavier bong. The point of all this is to say one of the oldest sayings in the book, “size doesn’t matter” lol.
Why I Recommend it
Out of all the many benefits this bong has, the thing that I love most about it is how small but tough it is. I mean honestly, the truth is that is I’ve banged it on my glass table like 100 times and it hasn’t even chipped a little off the base.
Another thing I love about this piece is that because it’s so light and small, it’s easy for me to take it with me everywhere in my house. Like I could literally be sitting in my bed, laying on the couch, or in the laundry room, it doesn’t matter. These are simple things that with a larger and more typical bong, are more complicated than ever. It’s almost like dealing with a slightly bigger bubbler.
I also like that the mouthpiece is bent, making it harder for water to get in your mouth unless you just have too much water in your bong, which brings me to my next point.
With certain bongs, you can’t just eyeball how much water you think should go in there, because with percolators attached, the natural shape of the bong is slightly altered, which makes guessing the perfect or ideal water level much harder to accomplish because it’s different than just a regular straight-tube glass bong.
So what I like to do is once I’m done cleaning it and rinsing it, I only add a little bit of water at a time. And while I’m doing this I leave the bowl piece out and take a couple of puffs, just to see ahead of time if there’s too little or too much water in it.
Trust me, if you do this enough times prior to taking that first hit you’ll start to get the hang of it.
Cleaning your Bong Properly
Obviously everyone knows how to clean a bong right? But the thing is with percolator bongs, sometimes it’s slightly different than just your average bong. This is because sometimes it’s harder to access certain parts of it that won’t come clean.
However that issue can be avoided depending on how you clean it. Some people just rinse their bongs out really “good” with water.
It’s not a bad thing to do it that way but it’s just not the best way, and if you do it that way now and change it from that to just using salt and alcohol, you will see a huge difference!
All you need to do is put a little bit but a decent amount of salt in the part where you insert the bowl piece, and a little inside of the mouthpiece. Then you do the same thing with the alcohol, shake it up for about 45 sec to 1 min, and you’ll be good to go. Just make sure you rinse it really well with just water about 7 to 10 times to make sure you get all the alcohol and salt out of there.
As you can see, I gave this one a pretty high rating. This was because I’ve smoked from a lot of pieces in my day and as far as a future daily go-to piece, this is definitely of the best types of bongs out there.
But again simplicity is one of my preferences, so it really just depends on if you’re a 4 to 6 ft bong type of guy, or if the size really doesn’t matter. If it doesn’t, then you’ll probably like this one.
